Türkport has displayed its Helium-based GÖKERİ and GÖKÇERİ propeller-assisted aerostats for ISR, EW, and border security purposes during the Fifth MRBS Summit.
The Fifth Military Radar and Border Security Summit has been a scene for two alternative surveillance systems with potential for use in border and perimeter security from Türkport: GÖKERİ and GÖKÇERİ aerostat platforms.
Türkport’s GÖKERİ and GÖKÇERİ scalable aerostat unmanned platforms stand out from their counterparts with their use of solar-powered propeller assist for stability and a composite structure that reduces gas leak. Both aerostats are available in three scales with varying performance parameters.

GÖKERİ, designated as an ‘aerocopter’, is an out-of-the-box approach in terms of layout, by combining the characteristics of a multi-copter UAV with vertical propellers and an aerostat with a ring-shaped Helium cushion.
The GÖKERİ aerocopter is available in Small (5 m), Middle (8 m), and Large (12 m) diameters with a proportionally increasing performance. All configurations can reach their operational altitudes in at most 20 minutes.
Payload options include EO cameras, communications relay (4G, 4.5G, 5G), IR camera, electronic support equipment, and self-defence decoy launchers.
Tethered GÖKÇERİ, with more payload capacity and a tail propeller for balancing against wind, is solar panel-assisted like GÖKERİ. As a larger system, the aerostat is intended to be deployed using a container unit that acts as the ground control unit as well.
GÖKÇERİ’s configuratiıons are Small (15 m), Medium (25 m), and Large (40 m). The payload portfolio, on top of GÖKERİ’s portfolio, includes a 7.62 mm sniper rifle (1000 m range), 40 mm mini rockets (1250 m range), and X-band low-altitude radar for UAV detection.
