Turkish Air Forces Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu visits the Qatar-Turkiye Joint Squadron. Qatar Defence Ministry announced today that the Turkish Air Forces General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu’s commander visited the Qatar-Turkiye Joint Squadron in Dukhan Air Base and met Staff Majoer General Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Mannai, Commander of Qatar Emiri Air Forces.
The social media share stated that General Kadıoğlu viewed work and training progress in the Qatar-Turkiye Joint Squadron in addition to the latest preparations and facilities.
The ministry shared a photo where a Rafale and Eurofighter Typhoon were seen along with Turkish Air Force’s F-16 fighter jet. Turkiye has deployed six jets in Qatar.
The Turkish Defence Ministry that Kadıoğlu flew with Qatar Air Force Commander Major Al-Mannai on this first flight. The statement included information that the visit occurred after the permanent deployment of the newly established Air Component Command within the Qatar-Turkish Combined Joint Force Command.
