HİSAR-O: A Key Component of Turkiye’s Air Defence
HİSAR-O, developed as part of Turkiye’s Indigenous defence initiatives, plays a pivotal role in the nation’s layered air defence strategy. The missile provides medium-altitude protection against aerial threats and can engage various targets, including aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
HİSAR-O will also serve as a critical phase in Turkiye’s “Çelik Kubbe” (Steel Dome), the Iron Dome equivalent system, bolstering the country’s defensive capabilities against evolving regional threats.
