Germany and Russia are Feuding over Nuclear Deterrence

German-Russian relations are rapidly deteriorating. The tension between Moscow and NATO has risen after the Western Alliance's defence ministers agreed on a new plan to defend against any potential Russian invasion on many fronts on Thursday. In response, Russia's Defence Minister, Sergei Shoigu, accused NATO of progressively amassing forces on Russia's borders and refusing to discuss European security on equal terms with Moscow.
