UAE Orders Norinco AR3 Launchers

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced at IDEX that it had awarded Chinese defence company Norinco a contract for AR3 multiple rocket/missile launchers worth AED902 million (USD245 million). The contract was awarded to International Golden Group, Norinco's Emirati partner, and includes in-country services, according to Tawazun Council, which manages procurement for the UAE Armed Forces.
