Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) have signed today a cooperation agreement that will lead to the 3D printing of Turkish Fighter ( T-FX). TUSAŞ signed an agreement with Additive Manufacturing Group “FIT AG”.
According to the TUSAŞ press release, the agreement aims to develop additive manufacturing methods based on aviation globally and develop different joint productions related to design and production. It will pave the way for mutual knowledge transfer to increase production competencies in additive manufacturing.
In this context, primarily Turkish TF-X Aircraft, Satellite, UAV and Hürjet projects will be targeted. Then qualified parts production processes will be implemented for other TUSAŞ aviation platforms.
