Ambassador Flake stated that the cooperation is essential for regional security and the NATO Alliance. The photo that Ambassador Flake shared was taken during the U.S.-Türkiye Strategic Mechanism meetings last week. Ambassador Flake stated that the meeting will advance the two countries' cooperation on shared priorities, including ending the Israel-Hamas conflict and establishing a durable two-state solution, defeating ISIS, and supporting Ukraine. He stated that it would also enhance energy, security, climate, and trade partnerships.
