ARES Shipyard has commenced production of the first ARES 18 Search and Rescue (SAR) Boat under a contract for 16 vessels to be built for the General Directorate of Coastal Safety within the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The steel-cutting ceremony was held with the participation of the General Director of Coastal Safety, project partners, engineers and technicians. The programme will strengthen Türkiye’s maritime safety and search and rescue capacity at key ports nationwide.
