ASELSAN announced on its official blog that ASELFLIR 600 EO/IR system for larger UCAV platforms and other aircraft will enter serial production in early 2026.
ASELFLIR 600, set to be deployed on Akıncı UCAV and others, will enter serial production in early 2026. This means a test footage is also likely to appear this year.
ASELFLIR 600, as a heavier electro-optical system compared to ASELFLIR 500 in use with armed UAVs/UCAVs, will have a higher performance at longer ranges in terms of imaging and laser designation. This will allow ASELFLIR 600 to detect, identify, and designate targets at longer ranges.
ASELFLIR 600 integrates multiple sensors including HD MWIR (1280x1024) camera, FHD TV (1920x1080) camera, and HD SWIR sensor. Laser systems include laser range finder, designator, pointer, illuminator, and spot tracker.
