ASELSAN and TUSAŞ Sign New USD 101M Avionics Agreement TurDef

ASELSAN announced at the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that the company entered a USD 101.76 million avionics agreement with Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) but did not disclose which platforms would receive the systems or what purpose the new equipment serves.

ASELSAN distributed a short KAP announcement which also appeared on their social media platforms to announce the completion of a USD 101,760,000 avionics system procurement contract with TUSAŞ.

The announcement does not provide any details about the technical aspects or program details of the contract. The companies did not explain whether this agreement represents a new procurement or an extension of additional units for an active program or ongoing avionics system integration work.

ASELSAN and TUSAŞ have worked together on multiple Turkish aerospace initiatives since 2010 which include the HÜRKUŞ trainer and HÜRJET light combat aircraft and GÖKBEY utility helicopter and unmanned systems development. The avionics solutions from ASELSAN include mission computers and cockpit displays and navigation systems and data links and integrated sensor suites.
