ASELSAN [BIST:ASELS] stated that the critical design for the highly compact ASELFLIR 10 gimbal EO/IR system, with integration work for prototypes set to begin in 2026.
ASELFLIR 10, to offer compactness with high resolution, unveiled at IDEF2025, is set to enter the integration phase in 2026, according to ASELSAN’s 2025 activity report.
The 10” gimbal EO/IR system weighs less than 20 kg. Components include an HD TV camera, an MWIR camera, a SWIR camera, and a laser designator/rangefinder.
It is understood that ASELFLIR 10 is intended for Class 2 UAVs, UGVs, and possibly USVs as a highly compact optic compared to high-end ones in use, like ASELFLIR 500 or ASELFLIR 600.
