ASELSAN is Exhibiting Smart Quad Rack
Turkish manufacturer ASELSAN is showcasing a Smart Pneumatic Quad Rack (SPQR) for combat aircraft. The system allows carrying four miniature bombs on one hard point. Thus, mission efficiency increases with these systems.Smart racks provide a solution to increase the payload quantity of an aircraft. The Smart Quad Rack allows loading four smart ammunition on one hard point rather than one. Aircraft efficiency is increasing while required platforms are reduced for tasks. Two SPQR can be installed for single aircraft so that the platform can carry eight bombs for each task. Thus, fewer aircraft are risked for a mission.
