Turkish defence electronics company ASELSAN [BIST: ASELS] announced in a disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has signed an agreement with the Secretariat of Defence Industries (SSB) for the procurement of guidance systems.
According to the statement, the contract is valued at USD 111,850,000. Deliveries under the programme are scheduled to take place between 2027 and 2028.
ASELSAN did not disclose the specific guidance system type covered by the agreement. However, the company is known for developing a range of guidance solutions used in precision-guided munitions, including seeker technologies and control systems integrated into air-launched and ground-launched weapons.
In a separate development, ASELSAN also signed an export-related contract with a domestic platform manufacturer for the supply of electro-optic systems intended for international end-users.
The contract has a total value of USD 54,600,000 and covers the procurement of electro-optic payloads to be integrated into platforms produced in Türkiye and exported abroad.
Electro-optic systems represent one of ASELSAN’s most competitive product areas in international markets, particularly for unmanned aerial vehicles, armoured vehicles and naval platforms requiring advanced surveillance, targeting and reconnaissance capabilities.
With the two agreements combined, the newly announced contracts add USD 166.45 million to ASELSAN’s order backlog. Deliveries will support both Türkiye’s defence procurement programmes and export-oriented platform projects developed by domestic manufacturers.
