ASFAT Showcases Defence Industry Solutions in Croatia TurDef

Turkish MOD’s ASFAT Inc will showcase its domestically developed land, air, and naval platforms at the  Adriatic Sea Defence & Aerospace (ASDA) 2025 international defence exhibition in Croatia.

ASDA 2025, one of Europe's key defence, aerospace, and security exhibitions, will take place in Zagreb between 8–10 April 2025. ASFAT will present its latest defence industry solutions to international stakeholders during the event.

ASFAT will highlight its portfolio of naval platforms, including frigates, corvettes, offshore patrol vessels, patrol boats, logistic support ships, auxiliary vessels, floating docks, and unmanned surface vessels.

Among the prominent systems to be displayed are the Pakistan MİLGEMs—tailored to meet Pakistan’s operational and technical requirements and capable of performing a wide range of combat missions, including air defence and anti-submarine warfare—and Turkiye’s new Offshore Patrol Vessels. The latter are currently being constructed and outfitted at Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command ( ITK) to serve the Turkish Navy’s operational needs and safeguard national maritime interests. The Croatian Navy is reportedly interested in exploring cooperation with ASFAT, particularly in acquiring corvette-type MİLGEMs and offshore patrol vessels. ASFAT has been actively engaging in bilateral business development efforts in Croatia for some time.

ASFAT also possesses capabilities in the maintenance, repair, and modernisation (MRO) of tanks, howitzers, various aircraft and helicopters, and their engines. During ASDA 2025, ASFAT will promote solutions that align with the Croatian Armed Forces’ requirements for platform-level maintenance and modernisation.

ASFAT offers end-to-end lifecycle management solutions. Its core competencies span the design, production, project management, training, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment of military systems. The company also shares its expertise in the establishment, modernisation, and operation of military factories and shipyards with friendly nations through joint project models.

Only four years after its establishment, ASFAT was listed in the “Defense News Top 100” in 2023, making it the youngest Turkish defence company to be included in the ranking.
