Baykar announced from social media accounts that the Bayraktar Akıncı UCAV was exported to the UAE in December 2024. The Company did not disclose the number.
Baykar has delivered the Bayraktar Akıncı UAE to the United Arab Emirates. This decleration undisclosed one of the 12 countries that Akıncı was exported. In total ten countries are; Azerbaijan, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine.
The UAE signed a comprehensive contract with Baykar in 2023, including purchasing 120 Bayraktar TB2s. More than 20 TB2 Armed UAVs were delivered to this country in the same year.
