Turkish Exporters Assembly listed Baykar among the top 10 exporting Turkish firms by export volume in 2024, with $1.8 billion in revenue from overseas sales.
The outcome of the listing by the Turkish Exporters Assembly is Baykar’s second time in a row in the Top 10 overall and the fourth time in a row as the defence firm with the largest volume of exports.
So far, Baykar has received orders from 36 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 armed UAV, 15 countries for the Akıncı UCAV, and one country for the Bayraktar TB3 UCAV, specifically Indonesia. It is expected that the recent joint venture between Leonardo and LBA Systems, which debuted during the Paris Airshow 2025, will provide a significant boost to the European market.
Additionally, Baykar has expanded into new fields, including loitering munitions for UCAVs and ground platforms, as well as electro-optical systems. These might also contribute to exports as payloads alongside the platforms.
