Bayraktar TB3 and AKINCI UCAVs are set to use ROKETSAN's low-cost mini cruise missile, recently shown at SAHA EXPO 2026 international defence exhibition.
During SAHA EXPO 2026, in which ROKETSAN unveiled its low-cost cruise missile, TurDef learned that the new missile will be available to the Bayraktar TB3 UCAV as well.
Considering Bayraktar TB3's payload capacity of 280 kg, each naval UCAV can carry two mini cruise missiles.
Thanks to the warhead of 30 kg, the mini cruise missile can engage small-sized naval targets or structures on the mainland, effectively supporting both ASuW and landing support scenarios where Bayraktar TB3 is intended to take part in from the TCG ANADOLU (L400) LHD.
Alongside Bayraktar TB3, AKINCI will also be among the platforms thanks to its generous payload capacity.
The mini cruise missile will be the long-reaching hand for the UCAVs with tame weight and unit cost thanks to its layout, whereas ÇAKIR, for heavier types like AKINCI, has more capable guidance capabilities from the IIR or RF seeker, as well as two times the warhead weight.
ROKETSAN's mini cruise missile has a range of 250 km, allowing UCAVs to completely stay out of the effective range of enemy air defence systems.
The guidance consists of GNSS+INS navigation supported by a barometric altimeter and a TV seeker for the terminal phase.
