Turkiye has started delivering T-129 ATAK attack helicopters to Nigeria. Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria Hidayet Bayraktar delivered a speech at Nigeria Turkiye Business Council ( NBTC) and stated that a defence industry cooperation agreement between Nigeria and Turkiye had been signed in 2021. Nigeria ordered six T129 ATAK attack helicopters made by Turkish Aerospace and Bayraktar TB2 armed UAVs made by Baykar Technologies.
