Deliveries of T129 ATAK Helicopters to Nigeria Started
Turkiye has started delivering T-129 ATAK attack helicopters to Nigeria. Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria Hidayet Bayraktar delivered a speech at Nigeria Turkiye Business Council ( NBTC) and stated that a defence industry cooperation agreement between Nigeria and Turkiye had been signed in 2021. Nigeria ordered six T129 ATAK attack helicopters made by Turkish Aerospace and Bayraktar TB2 armed UAVs made by Baykar Technologies.

Baykar’s Turbofan Powered Kızılelma took-off but did not perform an actual maiden flight, apparently. Baykar Chief Technical Officer Selçuk Bayraktar shared a video of Kızılelma UAV on the air. The UAV is at first flight tests at Çorlu Airport near İstanbul.
