Croatia has been approved by the State Department for a potential Foreign Military Sale (FMS) of M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, together with associated equipment and services, up to an estimated cost of $390 million.
The Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), which delivered the necessary certification, notified Congress today of this potential sale. Croatia has submitted a formal request to acquire eight M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and twenty-four M30A2 Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Alternative Warhead (AW) Pods equipped with an Insensitive Munitions Propulsion System (IMPS).
The initiative's projected overall expenditure is $390 million. Lockheed Martin will serve as the prime contractor.
