Czech Republic Acquires 24 F-35A Units

The Czech Air Force will receive its first aircraft in 2031, and the delivery will be completed by 2025. The aircraft to be received is the latest advanced Block 4 version.
With the signing of the LOA between the Czech Republic and the U.S. government, the Czech Republic became the 18th country to join the global F-35 program. Apart from aircraft, procurement also includes personnel training, logistics services and support, and the development of other support services.
Lockheed Martin said that by the 2030s, more than 600 F-35s would operate together in 10 European countries.
Currently, the Czech Air Force is operating 14 Saab Gripen aircraft leased from Sweden while waiting for the arrival of its first F-35A in 2031.
