Turkiye Exporters Assembly (TIM) announced the export figures for September.
Country’s exports in September reached $ 22.7 billion, showing a 0.3 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. The nine-month export total for the January-September period reached $187.5 billion.
According to the parliamentary report, the exports of the defence and aerospace sector in September 2023 amounted to $ 430.2 million, an increase of 158.9 per cent compared to the same month of the previous year. The sector's nine-month export target between January and September 2023, which has an export target of 6 billion dollars for the end of the year, was $ 3 billion 839 million in total.
According to the figures, armed unmanned aerial vehicle platforms and their ammunition lead the export figures.
