The International Armoured Vehicles Conference was held in the United Kingdom, Farnborough, between 21 -23 January.
Six Turkish Companies attended the event, including Otokar, FNSS, Nurol Makina/ Nurol Makina UK, CANiK, Koluman and ASELSAN. Turkish Defence Industry Secretariat (SSB) attended the event.
Estonian Defence Forces are getting shipments of the Nurol Makina NMS 4×4 and Otokar Arma 6×6 armoured personnel carriers (APCs) as part of a €200 million purchase agreed with two Turkish manufacturers. The Jane’s reported this during a Defence iQ International Armoured Vehicles (IAV) 2025 conference visit.

On October 18, 2023, Estonia placed an order for NMS and Arma vehicles. The Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI) announced that it had signed contracts with two Turkish companies for 230 vehicles and documentation, training, special tools, equipment, and spare parts. The total value of the contracts was EUR200 million. Otokar stated that the Arma contract was worth EUR130 million.
The 2nd Infantry Brigade of the Estonian Defence Forces (EDF) is being outfitted with NMS and Arma vehicles, while the 1st Infantry Brigade receiving only NMS vehicles. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of the Estonian Rescue Department is also acquiring four NMS vehicles. The NMS model for the department has an extended wheelbase (EWB).
Deliveries started in the second half of 2024 and are expected to take a year and a half to complete.
