Greece Makes Counterattack on Egypt

According to Greek publications Greece, Greek Cyprus and Egypt are expected to meet in New York. Greek defence publication “Defense Review” expects a tripartite meeting in New York.

The publication states that talks are underway in order to hold a tripartite meeting between Greece, Greek Cyprus and Egypt in New York. This will take place within the framework of the work of the United Nations General Assembly. 

According to the publication, this meeting will also be a response to the meeting of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with Egyptian President Abdulfettah Al-Sisi. Erdoğan and Al Sisi met last week in Ankara. Two leaders agreed cooperating on many subjects but they did not mention the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the Mediterranean Sea..
