Gürcan Okumuş, former manager of TÜBİTAK SAGE (Defence Industries Research and Development Institute), shared information on social media that he started working as the General Manager of ASSAN Group Savunma Sanayii A.Ş. In his sharing, Okumuş said he started working as the General Manager of Assan Group in June.
Talking about his business strategy, Okumuş said, “Recent developments in our increasingly warming world, especially the Ukraine-Russia war, have revealed that the most important power in the defence industry is production capacity and speed. With our strong production infrastructures and ongoing investments, we will rapidly move towards becoming one of the main production bases of our country’s defence industry. “
The Assan Group Savunma Sanayi A.Ş is known in the defence industry for its products, which include aerial bombs, large-caliber ammunition, and weapon systems.
