HAVELSAN Exports Mission Software for Spanish HÜRJETs TurDef

HAVELSAN announced that it will export its FSGP mission planning software will be exported for use on Spain’s upcoming HÜRJET advanced trainers (Saeta II).

HAVELSAN announced that FSGP is close to being operational on HÜRJET advanced trainers, which will be exported to Spain as the replacement of the Spanish Air and Space Force’s ageing F-5M fleet.

HÜRJET in Spanish service will be introduced as Saeta II, inheriting the name from Spain’s locally developed trainer aircraft. Spain plans to acquire between 30 and 45 HÜRJET advanced trainers within the scope of the Integrated Training System for Combat (ITS-C) programme.

FSGP, as a comprehensive mission planning software, covers the planning and post-mission evaluation phases. The software takes into account newer considerations for combat aircraft, such as lowering observability, network-enabled munitions, and working with multiple unmanned platforms.

Alongside FSGP, HAVELSAN has also signed a deal to export its HÜRJET simulator for early training phases, with localisation for Spanish pilots.
