HAVELSAN and Oman MoD have signed an agreement to integrate command control systems into the ships in service with the Omani Navy.

HAVELSAN announced the deal to modernise the command-and-control capabilities of the Omani warships on social media platforms. CEO Mehmet Akif Nacar stated that the command-and-control systems to be integrated will keep the Omani warships up-to-date for the next 20 years. HAVELSAN also has a subsidiary in the Gulf country, Technology Oman LLC, which was formed five years ago.

ARES Shipyard also has a share in the Omani Navy’s recent acquisitions with the deliveries of ARES Bold 85 high-speed patrol boats capable of 50 knots speed. The sale of Bold 85 was the first naval platform Turkiye exported to Oman.

Another important investment in Oman is the opening of ASELSAN’s Oman office, established in the capital, Muscat, at the beginning of February 2025.
