ASELSAN has unveiled the ASELFLIR 10 EO/IR system as the lightweight member of the ASELFLIR family with a weight of less than 19 kg and three camera components.
The newest member of the ASELFLIR family leans on compactness rather than more performance, intended for smaller platforms. ASELFLIR 10 weighs less than 19 kg, while the other members of the ASELFLIR family
weigh between 50 kg to 120 kg.
ASELFLIR’s components consist of an HD TV camera, an MWIR camera, a SWIR camera, and a laser designator/rangefinder. This makes ASELFLIR 10 practically a scaled version of the higher-end optics meant for larger platforms.
Possible applications for ASELFLIR 10 include light to medium UGVs and Group 2 UAVs that can not carry EO/IR systems like ASELFLIR 500.
