LENTATEK signed an export agreement for loitering munition systems with an undisclosed international customer, marking KARGI’s first confirmed sale abroad.
LENTATEK has announced that it signed an export agreement with an unnamed international customer for its loitering munition systems. The company shared the news via its official LinkedIn account, underlining its ambition to strengthen its global position by providing advanced technologies to Türkiye and allied nations.
The accompanying image featured KARGI, LENTATEK’s loitering munition developed with TÜBİTAK support. KARGI is designed to suppress and destroy enemy air defence radars and surface-to-air systems. By loitering over hostile airspace for extended periods, it forces air defence radars into passive mode and engages targets using its RF seeker head.
Originally derived from efforts to indigenise Israel’s IAI Harop, KARGI made its first successful flight in 2018. Since then, foreign components have been gradually replaced with domestic systems, including the RF seeker, warhead, flight and launch motors, propeller, fuel tank, and data link. The platform is powered by TEI’s PG50 engine.

In addition to the anti-radiation variant, LENTATEK has also introduced an electro-optic version of KARGI. Featuring a gimbal-mounted EO/IR system, this variant enables engagement of non-emitting ground targets such as armoured vehicles, ammunition depots, and critical infrastructure, while also providing ISR capability.
