Dr. Oğuz Hamşioğlu became the General Secretary of the Turkish Defence and Aerospace Industry Manufacturers Association (SASAD). Hamşioğlu has a deep knowledge of the sector. Hamşioğlu received two separate certificates in Material Supply Management and Defense Procurement Contracts Management from The US Army Logistics Management College. He served in the former Undersecretariat of Defense Industries (SSM), currently called the Secretariat of Defense Industries (SSB), between 1992-2006 and 2006-2014. Hamşioğlu worked as a General Manager at the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology between 2016 and 2018. Hamşioğlu worked on several projects at SSM. He worked on Basic Training Aircraft, Light Transport Aircraft, the Turkish Utility Helicopter (TUHP), Peace Eagle (Airborne Early Warning, Command and Control Aircraft), A400M Transportation Aircraft, Maritime Patrol Aircraft (Meltem), Police and Gendarmerie Light Class Helicopter Supply, Navair Helicopter, Ammunition Disposal Vehicle, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport Technopark, and Logistics Projects.
