New Term at Meteksan Savunma: Adil Baktır New General Manager

Adil Baktır was appointed General Manager at Meteksan, replacing Selçuk Kerem Alparslan. Alparslan was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Adil Baktır was appointed General Manager at Meteksan Savunma, replacing Selçuk Kerem Alparslan. Alparslan was appointed vice chairman of the board of directors and was responsible for corporate strategy and business development. There are further organizational changes at the company. In this context, the new missions are: Burak Akbaş – Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing, İrfan Yıldız – Deputy General Manager of Defence and Security Systems, Turgut Çelikadam – Deputy General Manager of Engineering and Technology, Şükrü Serkan Sevim – Deputy General Manager of Autonomous Systems, Sinan Atalar – Deputy General Manager of Corporate Operations, Adil Baktır joined the Meteksan family as Deputy General Manager in November 2019. He graduated from METU Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department in 1989 after completing his high school education at TED Ankara College. He received his Master's degree from Bilkent University, Department of Electrical and Electronics in 1991 and worked as a Research Assistant at the same university until 1993. Adil Baktır started working as a Design Engineer at Aselsan in 1993. He served as Military Computer Design Manager between 2008-2012, Air Defence Projects Program Manager between 2012-2014, and Air and Missile Defence Systems Group between 2014-2019, where he served as president.
