The delivery of S-400 Air Defence Systems to India would be postponed by Russia because of the current war between Russia and Ukraine.
Russia has communicated to India its intention to provide the remaining two squadrons of the S-400 long-range air defence missile system by August 2026.
Russia and India have entered into an agreement to purchase five squadrons of the S-400 air defence system. Russia has already sent three units; however, the remaining two units were not delivered within the designated timeframe.
