Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries (SSB) Haluk Görgün has announced that the SİPER Product-1 Long Range air defence system has entered the inventory.
Following the deal signed for SİPER Product-1's serial production on December 15th, 2023, the system has entered the inventory with its components.
Haluk Görgün noted that developing the SİPER Product-2 system with additional capabilities is ongoing as the Product-1 is being introduced.

SİPER Product-1 consists of trailer launchers firing SİPER Product-1 air defence missiles with a range of 100+ km, ALP 310-G early warning radar, AKREP 1000-G multi-function fire control radar, communication vehicles, and command vehicles.
SİPER Product-2 will introduce the SİPER Product-2 single-stage long-range air defence missile with a range of 150+ km and the new AGRAS-400SA RF seeker. In addition to a longer range, SİPER Product-2 is expected to have a more potent seeker with its larger diameter.
SİPER Product-3 missile to follow is aimed towards a ballistic missile defence role, likely against TBMs and SRBMs.
In addition to new missiles, ASELSAN is developing new radars for long-range air defence, such as ALP 500-G fixed early warning radar as the larger version of ALP 300-G ERALP, ALP 600-G high altitude radar, and ALP 400-G long-range radar.
Turkish Defence Ministry announces such developments at weekly press briefings held every Thursday.
