TEI Announces $450 Million in Exports Goal for 2025

Speaking to the Anadolu Agency, TEI CEO Akşit stated that the goal has been set for $450 million worth of exports this year, after the $400 million in 2024.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency News, Akşit underlined that TEI’s share of exports in gains is between 70 and 80 per cent, and the export goal for 2025 is higher than 2024 (around the nine-eighth of 2024’s figures).
He added that TEI is preparing for new international contracts and working with various countries. Japan and the ROK have recently joined this portfolio.
TEI’s efforts have concentrated on the TS1400 turboshaft engine for the T625 Gökbey utility helicopter and the TF6000/10000 turbofan engine’s development. TF6000 made its first run in 2024 and is expected to be used on TUSAŞ’s ANKA-III stealthy UCAV and possibly Baykar’s KIZILELMA unmanned fighter. In addition to unmanned combat aircraft, the TF6000 core is envisioned as a basis for turboshaft or gas turbine engines for other platforms.
