According to the Republic of Korea (ROK) based “The Korea Herald “, Seoul has decided to build three additional KDX III class “Sejong the Great “type destroyers, with a budget of $ 3.5 billion (including weapons and support). 

The three new destroyers will integrate the AEGIS system. At the same time, their construction should be completed by 2028.
