In August 2025, Türkiye's defence and aerospace sector set a new record for exports, bringing in $834 million from other countries. This is a 97.3% increase from the same month previous year.
From January to August, exports climbed 45% from the previous year to $5.418 billion. This shows how quickly the business is growing throughout the world and how competitive it is becoming.
Secretary of Defence Industry Haluk Görgün emphasised the long-term vision behind this growth, stating: “As the Secretary of Defence Industries, we are working tirelessly to ensure the sustainability of our exports through international cooperation, and by delivering high-technology, high value-added products.”
