According to a Nammo press release, the company recently signed an agreement with Hyundai Rotem Company (HRC) in the Republic of Korea (ROK) to develop 120 mm ammunition for the Korean company's K2 BLACK PANTHER Main Battle Tank (MBT). The agreement's initial value is $5 million, covering the integration, qualification, and development components. The agreement's value is expected to exceed $100 million if it is expanded to include the delivery of production ammunition to K2 users.

Philippines may Acquire KF-21 Boramae
Even though it has just flown and is completing various tests for certification, the KF-21 Boramae fighter jet from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) has attracted the interest of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) to acquire it. The KAF-21 is the newest alternative to the two fighter jets being studied, the F-16V from the US and the Saab Gripen from Sweden. As is known, the PAF is looking for a multi-role fighter jet (MRF) and will acquire at least 12 units of this type of jet.

ROK’s Hanwha Defence signs 2.4$ billion contracts with Poland
Republic of Korea’s (ROK) Hanwha Defence signed on August 26, an execution contract to supply K9 Thunder Self-Propelled Howitzers (SPHs) to Poland, just days before the MSPO Defence Expo in Kielce, Poland. The contract, worth $2.4 billion, is the first phase of a framework agreement signed in late July.
