​The ROK's KF-21 Performs its Maiden Flight

The Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) KF-21 Boramae stealth fighter took its first flight on July 19, marking a significant milestone for the Republic of Korea's (ROK) defence sector and making it the first country other than China, Russia, or the United States to achieve such a milestone. The test establishes the ROK as the world's eighth country to have developed supersonic fighter jets.

ROK Hands Overs Donated K-136 Kooryong MLRS to the Philippines

Republic of Korea (ROK) will supply the Philippines with the K-136 Kooryong Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) in June this year, Philippine news agency PINA wrote on April 27, 2022. 22 MLRS units will be delivered to the Philippines, which the Philippine Army and Marine Corps will then use. The Philippines will bear the costs of the transfer.
