HAVELSAN Provides Identity Verification

BİYOTEKSAN, a subsidiary of POLSAN and HAVELSAN, has developed the National Biometric Data Management System with HAVELSAN. The domestic fingerprint recognition system, developed by BİYOTEKSAN with HAVELSAN's engineering capabilities, was first implemented at the General Directorate of Migration Management on March 26, 2021. All registered immigrants' identity verification and inquiry processes were carried out over the domestic system in approximately one year. The company, along with HAVELSAN, reached a new step on the use of the National Biometric Data Management System.

The United States Air Force deployed a WC-135W “Constant Phoenix”, a nuclear sniffer, to Royal Air Force (RAF) Mildenhall Air Base in the United Kingdom on January 30, 2021. The aircraft with call sign ATOM01 specialises in detecting radioactive particles in the atmosphere, hence its nickname – the “sniffer.”
