The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has signed framework agreements with Saab for the Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon system and the AT4 anti-armour weapon.
Saab signed a framework agreement with an undisclosed Western country and received orders for around SEK 8 billion, with deliveries scheduled for 2023-2026.
Saab will set up a Carl-Gustaf M4 manufacturing facility in India, and the production is expected to start in 2024. The company established Saab FFV India.
