GÖKÇE Laser/GPS guidance kit for Mk-83 GPBs was tested from AKINCI UCAV for the third time, successfully hitting the target.
The recent test shows a significant increase in accuracy compared to the previous tests, with the munition with improved CEP value hitting close to the target centre.
GÖKÇE has been developed for Mk-83 GPBs to provide engagement capability against moving targets through the laser seeker, improved manoeuvrability, and new guidance algorithms. The kit can hit targets at speeds up to 120 km/h.
GÖKÇE can be launched from UCAVs (18 km range) and fighter jets (37 km range). Due to standard geometry, SARB-83 penetration bombs, in addition to existing Mk-83 types, are compatible.
The GÖZDE guidance kit, developed for Mk-82 GPBs, is a kit with the same set of features. GÖZDE was tested from AKINCI UCAV like GÖKÇE, as well as F-16.
