DERİNGÖZ 100M/600 UUVs’ detection against bottom and moored mines at different depths was tested, showing an important capability for the Turkish Navy.
ASELSAN’s [BIST:ASELS] DERİNGÖZ 100M/600 UUV demonstrated its ability to support mine countermeasures missions using its onboard sonars to detect bottom and moored mine types at varying depths.
DERİNGÖZ 100M/600 UUV is in the medium class with an operating depth of 600 m and endurance of 24 hours. The UUV can be fitted with multiple sonar types and electro-optics to support seabed security, mine countermeasures, and underwater ISR missions.
The Turkish Navy is expected to field DERİNGÖZ 100/600 M from its surface platforms and suitable shoreline locations.
DEARSAN is currently building two mine countermeasures vessels (MCMV) for the Turkish Navy, which are expected to incorporate UUVs and USVs. ASELSAN, alongside STM, will provide UUVs and MARLIN USVs for the new generation MCMVs.
In addition to the medium-class DERİNGÖZ 100M/600, ASELSAN unveiled the smaller DERİNGÖZ 100L/300 capable of 300 m depth during IDEF2025, understood to be a smaller alternative with more options for deployment.
