ASELSAN Signs €1.12 Billion Deal for Air Defence Systems TurDef

The Secretariat of Defence Industries (SSB) and ASELSAN have established new air-defence agreements worth €1.12 billion to support their ongoing serial production initiatives. The delivery schedule for these systems spans from 2027 through 2030 following the €1.65 billion contract announcement in September 2025.

The company announced at Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that ASELSAN and the Secretariat of Defence Industries reached new agreements for Air Defence Systems serial production worth EUR 1.122.139.260. The delivery period for these systems will span from 2027 through 2030.

The company explained that these new agreements support the existing air defence contract between ASELSAN and SSB. The first agreement between ASELSAN and SSB  became public in September 2025 when it was valued at €1.65 billion and established delivery timelines from 2027 to 2031.

The two contracts support Türkiye's development of a multi-layered air defence system which uses homegrown radar systems and command-and-control platforms and missile defence systems. The ongoing contracts prove Ankara's dedication to build domestic air defence capabilities while maintaining ASELSAN's manufacturing capabilities until 2030.
