DASAL Inks Cooperation Deal with Malaysian Firm

Turkish DASAL, known for its multi-rotor UAV designs, has signed a cooperation agreement with Malaysian PM Arms and Ammunition. The agreement was signed by DASAL General Manager Murat Koç, PM Arms and Ammunition CEO Dato’ HJ Bastien Bin Onn, and Anavatan Defence CEO Cenk A. Tarhun. PM Arms and Ammunition’s main field of work involves firearms. Thus, this agreement might be related to DASAL’s recent gun-armed UAVs like the FALCON UCAV unveiled in DSA 2024. FALCON SiHA can be armed with a 5.56x45 mm rifle with a capacity of 1000 rounds, surpassing previous gun-carrying UAVs in terms of capacity.

DASAL, a subsidiary of Altınay Defence, has developed several types of UAVs suitable for various roles, such as cargo, firefighting, and fire support. The UAVs' weights range from 15 to 150 kg. DASAL is also working on heavier cargo UAVs and hydrogen-powered UAVs.
