The Fifth Military Radar and Border Security Summit, held at Beytepe Congress Centre, hosted solutions and insights from the Turkish defence industry.
New solutions for border security and insights from senior officials were presented during the fifth MRBS Summit, with ISR solutions, new remote sensors, and a focus on the recent changes in the battlefield.
TUSAŞ, Sinerji High Technology, AVAS Metal, Türkport, Ortana, Ender Ar-Ge, BMC, ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, ROKETSAN, STM, ASFAT, METEKSAN, FOTONİKS, and Gürbağ Defence were present as the exhibitors. Both Turkish and foreign authorities were presented with solutions from the Turkish defence industry for border/mainland security.
Türkport’s scalable and self-powered aerostat platforms, Ender Ar-Ge’s family of loitering munitions/one-way kamikaze UAVs, and Ortana’s RadOR560 compact 4D C-UAS radar were among the new solutions.
ASELSAN Radar System Enginieering Director Ülkü Doyuran,
RST Engineering and R&D Deputy Director Okan Mert Yücedağ, and
METEKSAN Head of Radar Systems Team Cesur Karabacak were present on the first day on the use of AI for radar systems under the moderation of SSB Radar and Electronic Warfare Systems Director Muhammet Sami Ulukavak.
The panel for the second day, covering air defence systems, was held with ASELSAN Air Defence and Command-Control System Engineering Director Meysun Avcı Özgün, ROKETSAN Air Defence Systems Director Barlas Ortaç, HAVELSAN C4ISR Director Zafer Özkan, and TÜBİTAK SAGE Air Defence Missiles Director Emin Yusuf Avan under the moderation of ASELSAN Field Specialist Brigadier General (Turkish Air Force) Yusuf Erge.
