Defense News ranks ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, ROKETSAN, ASFAT and MKE among the world’s leading defence companies, with revenues placing them between 43rd and 80th place.
The U.S.-based Defense News has released its annual “Top 100” list of the world’s largest defence companies. The top 10 include six companies from the U.S., two from China, one from the United Kingdom and one from France.
Türkiye is represented by five companies. ASELSAN ranked 43rd with $3.54 billion in defence revenue, slipping one place from last year. TUSAŞ climbed from 50th to 47th with $3.15 billion, while ROKETSAN retained 71st with $1.54 billion. ASFAT made a notable leap from 94th to 78th with $1.27 billion, and MKE rose from 84th to 80th with $1.20 billion.
Russia was excluded from the list due to U.S. sanctions following the war in Ukraine. The ranking is based on companies that agree to share their balance sheets with the publication.
