TÜBİTAK SAGE’s GÖZDE Guidance Kit for Mk-82 general-purpose bombs achieved pinpoint accuracy during a test from AKINCI UCAV. In the latest test, the guidance kit hit the laser-designated point successfully. GÖKÇE guidance kit was present under the fuselage pylon as well. GÖZDE has been test-fired from an F-16 fighter jet, and AKINCI UCAV, and the serial production began in 2023. The new guidance kit with dual guidance was exported for the first time in 2024 spring.
The GÖZDE Guidance Kit is a versatile tool that can be used with a range of Mk-82 standard bombs, including general-purpose bombs, SERT-82 penetration bombs with a hard case, and MKE’s MK-82T thermobaric bomb. It has a range of 15 km when dropped from UCAVs and 28 km when dropped from fighter jets, making it adaptable to various mission requirements.
TÜBİTAK SAGE’s GÖZDE and GÖKÇE are the new generation of guidance kits able to engage high-speed moving targets at speeds of up to 120 km/h. This is thanks to a series of features added on top of the technology of previous guidance kits like HGK and LGK. The kits have a new guidance algorithm, and extra fins provide increased manoeuvrability, allowing better performance against moving targets when there is laser designation.
