During a recent test flown from an F-16, ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK SAGE’s GÖZDE Guidance Kit proved their precision attack capabilities by striking a high-speed moving target.
Involving a fast-moving vehicle target, the test highlighted GÖZDE’s accuracy. Target was laser-designated from an aerial platform using an electro-optical system; GÖZDE followed it using an integrated INS/GPS/Laser Seeker guiding system before precisely hitting.
With INS/GPS and Laser Seeker guidance, GÖZDE transforms MK-82 general-purpose bombs into precision-guided ammunition, enabling successful engagement of stationary and fast-moving targets. Maintaining great precision, GÖZDE offers reasonably affordable engagement capabilities without a further propulsion system.
Providing the Turkish Armed Forces with a major strategic advantage, GÖZDE is included in platforms like the F-16 and Bayraktar Akıncı, therefore increasing operational capability in many different mission environments.
