Altınay Defence, following its participation in the stock market, has received a total investment of TL 1.9 billion.
The processes have started for Altınay in the stock market with the gong ceremony in Borsa İstanbul (BIST). The requests for stock acquisitions were made between the 8th and 10th of May 2024.
During the process, 3.6 million investments have been made at a value of 1.9 billion Turkish Liras.
Altınay Defence is known for its UAV products and the recent Helicopter Securing and Transfer System in the defence industry.
The company’s subsidiary DASAL has developed several types of UAVs suitable for various roles, such as cargo, firefighting, and fire support, with weights ranging from 15 to 150 kg. DASAL is also working on heavier cargo UAVs and hydrogen-powered UAVs.
The other important product of the company, the Helicopter Securing and Transfer System, has been developed in response to Canada’s embargo on the ASIST system. Altınay’s locally developed counterpart will be used in I-class frigates of the Turkish Navy.
