This is Iran’s first ever strike from its territory against Israel even though there were various threats in the past. Iranian drones have to cross Iraqi territory to reach Israel. Iran will most likely use the version of Shaheed-136 kamikaze drones sold to Russia. The Biden administration has promised to assist Israel in responding to the Iranian assault and sent an aircraft carrier and two destroyers near Israel to intercept missiles. Iran had seized a vessel today due to its relations with Israel.
