TurDef has recently written that private shipyards will carry out the construction activities of new frigates for the Turkish Navy. The exclusive sources confirmed the news and stated that the recent Defence Industry Executive Committee (SSİK) had evaluated the offers. Reliable sources said that possible shipyards are determined, and discussions on the process continue. According to the source, the Defence Industry Agency (SSB) will declare builders in February 2023.
